Ythan youth events in August and September

Ythan are organising two youth events in the coming months.

These popular events will this year be part of Scottish Cycling's Skinny Tyre series

On Saturday 27th of August the Grampian Grand Prix returns to the Alford transport museum track.

And on Sunday 4th September the Ellon town centre crit races are being run in conjunction with the Ellon pedal car race. The crit races will be run through the centre of Ellon town on closed roads.

Bob Souter 10 mile TT

This weekend Ythan are organising the Bob Souter 10 mile TT. Starting on Sunday 24^th at 10am. Sign on is at the Victoria Hall in Ellon so there is plenty of parking available. Start sheet will appear here shortly.

Wojtek reigns in Spain

Wojtek has been cycling in Spain over the last few weeks as part of an exchange organised by Scottish Cycling. He has been staying with a Spanish rider Adrian Sainz Murgoitio.

Adrian will come over to Aberdeenshire next Monday and will be at the Bob Souter 10 on Sunday 24^th.

While in Spain Wojtek and the rest of the Scottish team won a team timetrial, beating their nearest rivals by 45 seconds.
